Friday Morning Nature Fun with Miss Sarah!
2025-26 School Year (Spring Schedule)
Two Friday mornings a month, Cedar County Naturalist, Miss Sarah shares her knowledge and love of nature with our youngest library patrons and their adults!
Fridays 11:00-11:30 a.m.
(Ideal for Pre-K-3rd Grade - Homeschoolers)

Miss Sarah Afterschool!

One Wednesday a month Miss Sarah, the Cedar County Naturalist, stops by the library to teach elementary age kids about nature and our environment.
Wednesdays 3:45-4:30 p.m.

The Other Book Club
A great way to meet other book lovers!

The Library will have 10 copies availabe for checkout approximately a month before the discussion.

A Mechanicsville Public Library library card is required for checkout

We'll Meet to discuss the book the last Wednesday of the month 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the library.

One More Chapter (OMC) Book Club
This Reading Group began in November 2000 with a handful of members and has continued growing and changing!
(This Book Club meets offsite and is currently full.)

Weekly Programs
B.Y.O.P.
Adults "Bring Your Own Project" or just yourself and hang out for an hour!
We do have adult coloring books (pencils and markers) if knitting or crochetting are not your thing.
Tuesdays 11:00 am - Noon
Occasionally, some Tuesdays the BYOP program may be canclled we will try to make sure our Event Tab is updated.
Monthly Programs
Ms. Fuller
One Thursday a month Ms. Fuller stops by the library for some fun and games!
One Thursday a month 4:00-5:00 p.m.
TAG (Teen Activity Group)
One Sunday a month teens (6th through 12th grades) are invited to hang out at the library between 1:00 and 2:30/3:00 pm. We try to have one planned activity for those who want something more structured. It's a nice time to hang out with friends during off hours at the library!
