Yearbook Project
The Mechanicsville Public Library is digitizing our yearbook collection through a program offered by the Oklahoma Correctional Industries that provide skills to inmates. To date, we have sent out 35 of our yearbooks from our collection that cover 1960-1995 to be digitize. We are currently uploading those yearbooks to the website Internet Archive.
At this time, we are trying to fill in the gaps of our collection. We are looking for the following Mechanicsville and Lincoln High School Yearbooks (in good condition) to be donated to our library’s collection: Missing Mechanicsville High School 1950, 51, 52, 53, 58, 59. We are also missing the 1976 Lincoln High School Yearbook for our collection.
We only need one yearbook per graduating class for our physical collection…If you have yearbooks to donate to the library, please contact Meredith at the library 563-432-7135, via email: mdehmer@mechanicsville.lib.ia.us, or FB Messenger to let her know what yearbooks you would like to provide so we can control the size of the collection. Thanks!
